A follow-up to Tom Kundig; Houses, this book will be a continuation of residential architecture with a smaller 2nd section in the back that explores his current large-scale projects that are in design or construction, but not yet finished. Tom still has the touch and this book would include residential architecture from 500 square-foot huts to a house built into a rock. Beautiful details, rich materials, and the Kundig style of steel, craft, and wood. As with all of Tom s work, site is important as well. Here we have mountain tops, beach and lake fronts, woods, and urban sites and vineyards. This book was not reviewed until after the meeting, but worth talking about now. The proposal is Tom s portfolio, which includes some old projects from the previous book. These projects will not be in the new book, so please disregard We like this book to be more pages, possibly more expensive (but no more than $50), and hardcover. Read more
